Taxes should be as minimally intrusive into our lives as possible. They are necessary to fund critical aspects of our government that serve us all (infrastructure, education, emergency and safety operations), but they need to be administered openly, distributed equitably, and reduced frequently. North Carolina has a spending problem not a funding problem.
