Our government should set laws and policies that promote this essential building block of a healthy community and society.  The government should give families and children the opportunities they need to become fulfilled contributing members of society and balance that with giving parents the freedom to raise their children as they see best.  Parents are morally and legally responsible for their children and are the people with the greatest opportunity to raise mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy children.  I want our laws to support them in this.
